Job Coaches are used from Grow & Achieve Together for the interns in placements which are funded by DWP Access to Work.

The Supported Internship programme is designed to support young people aged 16-24 who have an EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan) in place. The course offers a day in College gaining a work related qualification alongside work placements with an Employer.

The Springboard Project aims to support young adults (16-19 year olds) with learning difficulties into the world of work. Our supported internship programme combines work experience in local businesses with taught sessions and independent learning activities at The Hub, our base.

Although this is a branch of Springfield School, places are not just for Springfield students, in fact we are looking forward to providing opportunities to students from other schools. See the ‘Interns’ section for more information.
